Privacy policy
Short version: there are no accounts, nothing is sold, and what you search is not attached to you.
What we do not collect
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no profile associated with you.
- No advertising or data brokerage. Searches are not sold, shared, or monetised.
- No cross-site tracking or third-party advertising cookies.
Search queries
The domain you search is sent to our server so it can query the public Certificate Transparency dataset, and the result is cached in memory so that the same search is fast for the next person and so we stay within the upstream service's rate limit. Cached entries are not linked to any identifier and expire automatically.
Server logs may record an IP address for the purposes of operating the service, preventing abuse, and diagnosing errors.
Third parties
A search causes our server to contact crt.name to retrieve public certificate
data. That request necessarily contains the domain being searched. No other third parties
receive your data.
Analytics
This site uses privacy-respecting, aggregate traffic measurement. No analytics data is shared with advertising networks, and nothing is used to build a profile of you across websites.
Your choices
Because there is no account and no personal data linked to you, there is nothing to export or delete. If you have a question about how a specific request was handled, contact us and we will do our best to explain what we hold.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published on this page.
